Clematis: did spray cause this?, 0 by ghopper

This is viticella Kermesina, planted about 4 years ago. It has never looked like this in the past. There are about 20 blooms on it now and they all look like this. My lawn was sprayed with Forefront in the fall. Could that have caused this to happen? The rest of the plant looke fine as does the other clem planted within about a foot of this one. Just the 1 petal on each bloom is colored as if it is half petal and half leaf. ??????????
