nutsfordaylily wrote: Great stuff, everyone! Celeste, I love your shot of the hummingbird moth. Very nice! Marilyn, I need some of that Prairie White penstemon. I like long-lived ones! I would be happy if I was on a dirt road that was getting paved. Half of our road is dirt, and when the weather is really dry I'm always thinking how dusty their places must be from the cars going by and kicking up dust. Then when it freezes and thaws you get a lot of mud and big ruts, as well as when we get a lot of rain. Paved roads are so much cleaner. Patti, I can't believe you still have any daffs and primulas blooming. I think I might actually have that Francesca still in bloom. That one is a real long lasting bloomer. Jo, enjoy your garden party today. I hope you're getting good weather for it. We are overcast and cool here today. I'm having a big party here on the 4th. Hoping for good weather. Sorry about your picked flowers. :-( Those kids sound like me and my sisters and brother when we were little. We were never disciplined either. I always vowed to discipline my kids if I ever had any, but I never did. I would have been a terrible mother, though. I would have been a drill sergeant. My mother was a wonderful person, just not good at discipline. She had every excuse in the world why we were so ill behaved. Her favorite was that we just wouldn't listen. Allison, that lily is huge! Must add some of those to me gardens. I have had a bunny running rampant in my gardens. He keeps chewing up a Cape Sweet Pea that I got from Annie's I despair of ever seeing it grow. I try and keep up a spray of hot pepper wax on it, but he seems to be immune. Love your Desert Song lily. Victor, I love your lavender/pink JI. Jen, love that Double Pompon.
