Welcome, Amanda!

I think you will enjoy the folks here. Yes, please do tell us a bit about yourself. What kinds of plants do you grow and what kind would you like to grow? Do you get snow in the winter and blazing hot in the summer? Or do you get a gentle rain at night 5 days a week, and warm sunny days with a gentle breeze?

JB ~ I think it best to research the plant patent. But you would probably do that anyway. We don't want to have to visit you in the poky.

rj ~ Yes, Dave is SO right! I once got stuck in a business partnership and when they go sour, not a pretty sight. I had to learn by experience.

After a few nice days, it is supposed to rain with the possiblity of snow. I worked outside for most of the day, though it was cold and breezy, so I wore extra layers. The rain is supposed to come tonight, but so far, not a drop. Yes, Dawn, that was last year. I was hoping that we would not have any late snowfalls this year. The lettuce, broccoli, parsley, potatoes and peas are doing great. I think the stevia is going to come up once again for the third year. It is supposed to be a tropical plant, and I pulled out 2 of the 3, saving the best one. I will probably trade it, as I do not care for the flavor of stevia. I will wait and see how it does first. Maybe save the seeds if no one wants it, and try to develop a hardier plant....last year it got down to 17°, but that was under the cover of snow. This year we had wind with the snow, and I do not remember the temps. I will check tomorrow and see what the weather brings. I may bring in the tomatoes I have not yet planted and cover the one that I have.

Steve got a tractor and has been pulling out manzanita until the chain broke. He had a good fire going!

Have a good weekend everyone.
