Beginner Gardening: Albino mandarin seedling... yay or nay?, 0 by xerynx

A month ago I planted some seeds from an organic mandarin I ate, and to my delight two of them sprouted! (Despite the baggie being shaken by my toddler twice, haha)

One of the seedlings is now 2 inches high, and looking very shiny and healthy. It's a nice deep green.
The other has a green stem, and the veins in the leaves are green also, but the cotyledon are white. I waited until true leaves grew, and they are also white with green veins. (They aren't visible yet in the photograph, but this is a good picture to show what I mean.)

I did some reading about albino citrus seedlings, how they are relatively common and are doomed to perish as soon as they run out of nutrients from their seed.
The pictures I found of albino seedlings look a little different than this little guy, though... they're PURE white. White stem, white veins, white leaves... no green at all.

Is this an albino seedling or something different? I didn't think you could get a variagated specimin from seed, but is that possibly what's going on here? I don't want to think it's destined to die at 6 inches tall... but I'm completely baffled by its pale colour. Anyone know how to identify an albino?
