And add in some little whimsical decor here and there--a birdhouse gourd, a gnome, a small water feature, etc. Anythng you want can go in your cottage garden. At first it may look haphazard and chaotic, but in a couple of years as everythig fills in, it looks like a little slice of heaven. Here's part of my cottage garden. You'll notice that there seems to be no rhyme r reason to it, no formal pattern or formal plants. Everything is kinda carefree and whimsical. |
