Update

Up until a few days ago I didn't know if I had boys or girls . . . I had assumed, because of their behavior, I had 1 definite male (Early Bird, the head-rubber), 1 definite female (Baby, in the foreground), and 1 iffy one (Hal, in the background).
Well . . . my sweet little girl Baby, never nips, never fights, but now has a lovely little curl on the tail. A boy?!
I believe I have 3 boys, as the other's top tail feathers look to be suspiciously turning upward as well.
Friends of ours said I should've named them Huey, Dewey and Louie.

And Elleisn, I used to be a chicken girl--empire champion, in fact, for poultry showmanship--and loved my girls dearly. I'll always remember Muffy, my Golden Lace Polish, that would fall asleep every time during showmanship. She would hang her head all the way down (and look rather dead). I would have to wake her up every now and again to make her look presentable.

Now the chicken coop and pen are just beginning to be used by the ducks for the time they aren't in the house or their favorite place: the pond. I love my ducks and want to protect them as best I can.
To everyone: I'm going to order some electric fencing today so that the pen area is safer while my ducks are enjoying the outdoors. The attached is from my game cam: a lovely little critter I caught on it in the night. If anyone has experience with this or any suggestions, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
