If last year was any indication they should continue to produce blooms through the end of April and then start dying back in May when our weather turns much more tropical. These are "Mache Mix" Ranunculus blooming in a container right now. The difference is these are grown from seed and the "Tecolote" Ranunculus, in the last photo, are grown from bulbs. Bloom size is slightly smaller and both take about 90 days to produce blooms. The seed grown Ranunculus are much shorter plants at 6-10". Last year I grew a different seed grown variety named "Bloomingdale" Ranunculus. The two seed grown varieties are so similar, but I do think last years "Bloomingdale" plants grew better and had fuller foliage. Jon |
