evelyn_inthegarden wrote: Linda ~ Is your oxalis a hardy one or to be taken inside during winter? I love all kinds of oxalis. Do you know the species of it? Thanks! We are glad that you are having nice weather. We are all ready for it too! Today was better. It was 26° last night and 48° today, not quite as warm as yesterday, but relatively speaking, it is getting warmer. The rain has washed almost all of the snow away and now we can see all the branches down from the windy snowstorm a couple of weeks ago. It has taken that long for it to melt, but it probably wouldn't have except we just recently got a warmer storm with lots of rain. More on Sunday. Steve has been cutting the big branches and especially the biggest one that might have been a lot worse as it fell and just damaged the side of the roof a bit. I am glad to see it finally down as it was half-broken off and partially down... JB & Jeanette - It's about time you got some sunny weather. Maybe a sunlamp would work on your plants and you too...LOL!! I get depressed when it stays cold and cloudy a lot. Keep up your spirits. Dave might be right about the light in the greenhouse. Then you could keep your plants company and read in there...or whatever... Here is a picture of our new drapes. I think they are a bit fancy to go with the logs but the color is nice. |
