So, tell me ... if you remove all the bottom leaves to have only 3 rows, don't you then have a long bare stem/stalk where the bottom leaves were? I remember having a few Optimara Annabelle's that looked like Palm trees because all the lower leaves got ratty and came off. Do you then plant the stem/stalk deeper when repotting?
