South east Queensland is facing the mamoth task of mopping up now, Victoria is currently evacuating towns in the path of the floods. A lot of the flood water is going inland so there'll be plenty of towns going under water progressively over the next 6 months.

And a word of warning about insurance companies. Many people insured for flood are now finding themselves not covered for damages because the insurance companies are claiming it wasn't a "flood", it was "rising water", and that wasn't covered by their policies????????????
