The range maps I've seen don't include Leakey, TX as an area where Black Phoebes are found (but its pretty close)... so I am wondering if it may just be an Eastern Phoebe. I know the Eastern Phoebes were around because every day I was there they were quite vocal with the classic FEE-BEE....... FEE-BEE-BAY call. Hard to mistake that one!
