Thanks, you two. Not really that warm in there, but it's above freezing. My bird nest ferns did well in there all winter last year, as did a brugmansia, a palm, a couple of orchids. Temps range in the upper 40's to lower 60's in the winter. We have a heater vent in there, but no thermostat, so the temp is not regulated. The thermostat is only in our hallway, dead center in the middle of the house. The porch is way over on the north side. I has windows all the way around, like a sunroom, so it gets light from the west, north and east. The most light is from the east. The west side is shaded by various trees.

Here's a collage of pics of a bluish fern that I got yesterday. Will have to try and find out what the variety is.
