Jeanette & JB ~ Yes, the HIPPA law can be more than inconvenient. Especially when we need important info on our loved ones, and they may not have given us written permission.

Well everyone, I must get back to copying files so when I call HP I will be prepared. I have learned to do this first even before calling them. Then, call them early in the day, if possible (maybe tomorrow), as they take a long time to discern if your computer is worthy of returning for repair. The desktop will not dial out anymore for some reason. I re-installed the modem and even checked it according to the protocol and it checks out as working fine, though it is not. HMMM?? Anyone have any ideas before I call? Well we are plant nerds, not computer nerds, well maybe except for JB. She even watched TV on her computer. (I suppose all of you that have high speed could do that.)
