Good morning all. I FINALLY got the fabrics sorted in the armoire downstairs. At least now I can see what I have (TOO MUCH) What shows in this picture is about half. Each shelf has two rows of fabrics (ex. behind the blues are the greens and behind the reds are the purples, etc) Plus all the blacks, whites, greys and creams/beiges are upstairs!!! A good job done....
What a great job on the mole Judy!! He is adorable. I have a hint for you regarding the ironing board. The harder the surface you iron on, the better the fabrics lay when you press. You get nice sharp folds that way when you press your seam to the side or when you press them open . They lay nice and flat. A soft surface doesn't allow for good creases in the material. A simple board is hard surface board with a layer of batting plus a layer of Insul-brite (the stuff you use for pot holders) and topped with a piece of cotton on top. The harder the surface the better. Just a thought for you.......
