OMG, one year when I was working I mentioned to hubby I wanted a Sunflower "patch". I'd saved seedheads from the previous year and had no idea there were enough for him to plant an acre...now that was a real show stopper when they bloomed...we had neighbors and passers-by stopping to take photos. That was the one and only year I seriously thought about going into Sunflower Oil production...LOL

No rains are in the forecast here but we could use it. Our best bet in the near future is Hurricane Earl that's supposed to either skirt or hit the Outer Banks of NC Thursday or Friday before it heads up the East Coast. We're 6 hours inland --- you're a lot closer, Faye -- and usually have rain bands from a huge storm like that. The Outer Banks have been our favorite place to vacation since 1999 and have only missed going back the last two years.
