Everyone has wonderful photos, and Tex, yours are outstanding to me because they are the same things I grow. I usually put in dahlias but did not this year because I did not see any I liked. Had I known that everything would bolt in the heat, I would have put them in, because once they start blooming, they go on and one till the frost.

Can't wait to see what those double lilies will do for us next year after a season inground. We did not get the greatest results (we often don't the first year), but the high heat and drought may be very contributory. The asiatic elodie and fata morgana were spectacular this year after a meager showing last year.

The last of the lilies, a few stargazers are all that are left. They usually bloom now through the middle to end of August, but chose to bloom in the heat of June and July. And after all that spraying for lily beetles! There is no justice.

These roses are called 4th of July for obvious reasons. Luckily they are reblooming, but the cluster is opening all at once instead of a few at a time.

Our double pleasure is that the tomatoes like the heat.
