Bettypauze wrote: TUBBY, your word for today was scamper...here goes... Did you know that Bob Eberly created Scamper - a creative method to increase creative thinking?? and a barrel jumping horse is called a scamper... Wasn't easy "Tubby" !!! Now I know what I learnt today..lol Neighbor dropped in to see what I had been working on today, guess Sailor didn't recognize the voice..no sooner had he left that Danie called, wanted to know if I wanted to go to her house and do some boating and generally just taking time to relax...appreciate the invite, but think tomorrow I just want to stay home and relax... When I got home there was a message from Diane asking me to call, most likely it was to invite me to supper but lordy the highways are busy, will be deadly tomorrow..so best I stay put.. Looked for a rug at 4 stores in town, none of which I liked..went to 2 nurseries, gosh, plants almost dead and they wanted full price..of course, the nursery in Barrie had mega sales and healthy plants/shrubs so will wait till one lunch hour and go.. Did purchase yardage / embroidery thread / warm blend batting at Fabricland..everything still 50% off..imagine as the weeks progress it will go to 75% off so will keep close tabs on the sales... Thought I'd make another 2 or 3 bags, always use them at Christmas time so bought co-ordinating tans/black green prints..now washing the fabric, I'll set it out and who knows, here and there I can cut the pieces out and make kits, that way when I decide to make them a lot of the work will be done... How's the turkey Debbie...now you have me hungry for turkey..when I was at the Mall I check out the Chinese Food vendor, closed on Sunday so now I'm hungry but too lazy to even warm up the roast beef/potatoes and carrots... |
