But trying to enjoy what is blooming. Kind of been lurking and trying to keep up with every one's projects. I am going to get out today and take some shots. Our new timber wall is coming along. The guy who is doing it is beyond clever. He has done a terrific job of laying down a whole system for better drainage and a way to attach the timbers which is way better than the re-bar that they used 25 years ago. He has used a lot of drainage tubing and gravel and attached it all to a dry well in the terrace. He has finished the lower level and now ready to start the next level of timbers up the first flight of stair, not built yet nor in the picture. He only works after his regular finish carpentry job and weekend, so slow going, but he has been great. He also loves our garden and always takes a walk through before he starts each night to see what is new, so he has been very careful and respectful with all the plants. I have been very pleased, except that it isn't made a la Wha with stone. Patti |
