I usually lay out 3 or 4 trays fill with soil and water a few times the day before I do cuttings, so they will drain well.
I have a ton of stuff to do outside and the rain wont let me. I will have to run out between the rain drops and pull my outbound hostas for the week. and yes running between the rain drops is a class they teach when you live by the beach.....
