It wasn't getting fed nearly as much as the bigger babies today. It's hard to believe that I think it's not going to make it to becoming a fledgling. I have to admit...I've seen one, two and 3 Robin babies make it to becoming healthy fledglings, but not 4...
Can anyone reassure me that it's still possible that the little one will be ok? Has anyone see a healthy set of 4 Robin fledglings leave the same nest?
Here's today's pic...what are your opinions?
I expected to see the smallest/youngest one be full of dark feathers today like how it's siblings looked in the last pic...but I was saddened to see otherwise. It has fallen behind on it's development/growth rate! Although it's furrier than in the last pic, it really hasn't grown in size either. Can anyone else see this?
This pic was taken around noon today. When I peeked into the nest at near dusk tonight, the poor thing was almost buried under it's siblings...oh so sad! :(
