Hi Pirl! I miss hearing your pearls of wisdom and saintly humor (yeah, right). Pirl, is it possible to get food poisoning or ingest E-Coli bacteria while harvesting from the home garden?Last year I remember hearing about E-Coli outbreaks from supermarket Tomatoes, Spinach, and Lettuce. These three are used raw in salads.
