Faye, my HP desktop is almost 5 years old and I've gone through the same gyration with HP's supposed "support" service, never got any decent help either and the guy did the same thing to me. We must have been on the phone for an 1-1/2 hours, then he cut me short too and never bothered to call back. Not knowing what my problem(s) might be, I decided to take my hard drive and monitor to a guy who has been repairing PC's and laptops locally for over 20 years and has an impeccable reputation. Maybe you have someone there like that too? He replaced the battery-driven fan, a $15 part, and replaced the video card that was going bad with a new one for $75 plus a minimal charge for labor. That was two years ago and knock on wood, I haven't had any problems since.

Here's my first Daylily bloom yesterday. It's a NOID dwarf seedling that has a teeny tiny bloom but and I was tickled to see it.
