Silly thing has a steam release valve, but the rubber piece was missing..packed it back up and took it back..got the last one on the shelf and made them open it up so I could see that it had all the pieces LOL..
Then went out to Big Hollow Creek recreation area to take some pics..I love how everything is green again! Got lost on some back roads, but kept heading east cause I knew I'd hit the river sooner or later. Sure enough, I found Highway 99 and followed it back into town.

DD and family are down in St Louis watching the Cardinals play..her DH sent me a pic on the phone of Kailey in her little Cardinal shirt..all dressed up to watch the game :) I'll try to get that one downloaded to my computer, it's a cute one.

I, too, love Texas sheetcake! I have a recipe somewhere that a coworker gave me down in Oklahoma..said it was his grandmother's recipe..it was soooo good!
