Zone 8 minimum temps 10°, right? I think it only got down to 17° this winter, but the power was out for 4 days as it was a state-wide storm with many accidents and power poles down. I think that was in December. No pictures as both computers went out, and I forgot to retrieve the pictures from them. We are equipped to be prepared for at least one power outage a winter, as we keep a full pantry in our basement and keep the freezer door shut.

Rita ~ Your tulips are beautiful! I hardly saw any of mine this year, as we have squirrels and deer, though they were sprayed, and it usually works..also the erratic weather patterns might have something to do with them not showing up...I will have to do further investigation. do you not have deer? Or are these behind fencing? DH has been waiting for Estella Reijnveld...I hope she isn't gone...I did not plant any last fall, thinking there would be some from the previous year. I think this daff is 'Stainless'
