I had a red bud blooming, and Husker's Red penstemon sending up burgundy foliage, to set off my Queen of Night Tulips and Cloud Nine tulips. There were also a few daffodils still hanging around, too, to add some white to the mix. The bed still looks a little bare, but I'm trying not to pack it full right from the start, until I figure out what will bloom when. :) Ignore the weeds and the grass that needs to be mowed, please. There will be two clematis on the trellis blooming later--Jackmanii and. . .drat, can't find the name of the double pink and white one.
