I'm too far behind to comment on all the photos that I loved except for two:
Pelle, no wonder you wanted to start this thread! Those osprey pictures are FANTASTIC.
Rose, those 5 baby BB are the cutest darn things! You know what else. I have a bird that I have assumed was a female red-winged blackbird, but it appears to have a yellow throat. It's probably not a meadowlark-- wouldn't make sense in my yard, but it does look unusual. Keep posting those pics so I can figure it out!

Anyway, Mrs. Ed, feel better b/c one of your favorites is headed your way! Just saw this Rose-breasted Grosbeak. I waited and waited for him to fly to a spot out of the shade. When he did, I lost him. Now, I'm a prisoner in my house waiting for him to come to the pond.
