A few years ago, this Brug was one of a table full of named rooted cuttings, when a fierce southeast wind blew the swinging handle that controls the up and down movement of the greenhouse side against the table and upended it. Pots, cuttings and tags went flying across the pavers. I found very few pots with both cutting and label. In that instant most of the cuttings became noids. This orange long-tendriled Brug was one of those noids. The orange color intensified as the bloom aged. This first bloom was slightly smaller than subsequent blooms, but the bloom is definitely orange. The blooms are nodding and trumpet shaped. The calx covers the entire neck and is split once although the lobe has a small split. Very good fragrance. I'll have to measure the next few blooms to see how long they are.
