ducbucln wrote: Gee, another new start. Wonderful photos in the last thread everyone. Resin, thanks for the new start and the link-I'll have to check it out. Love that Eiders' coloring. Missy, cute photos of the birds and suet. GP, the egrets are beautiful and that dove is just gorgeous. Great closeup of it too. Love the coloring with the cardinal. Hack, I went on a bird walk with our local Audubon members and we discussed the Yellow-rumped Warbler. They told me the easiest way to i.d. the Audubon is that it has a yellow patch under the beak where the Myrtle has a white patch. Now all I have to do is remember just one of these!LOL Great photo of the C. sparrow. Love that White throated, hope you'll find more of them. Nice timing on that last robin shot-great job. I can sure tell you're enjoying the camera as much as I am. We went on a birdwalk at one of our local state parks last Saturday and I'm still getting my photos together. Trouble is, my first Bullock's Oriole just arrived today at my hummer feeder so I had to run and fill a new orange feeder I got just for the orioles. So far this guy is still just going to the hummer's feeder. Doesn't that figure??? Anyway, I'm watching for my first photo op, so I'll post more photos tomorrow. This is the first time I've ever actually seen the crest on a Double crested Cormorant out on our lake. Sorry the lighting was all wrong. |
