Lily, I had a pair robins coming regular to the oriole table to eat grapes and the grape jelly last year. The male would catch bugs and the dip them in the jelly....sooooo funny to watch! I think the male is back now and keeps looking for the table. I don't have it set up yet as it is a bit early for the orioles. I feel a little guilty! So you might try that.

I had lot of birds eating the grapes and jelly. Orioles, Cardinals, Jays, Red-bellied WP (they like oranges too!), Robins, Thrashers. Which is why I want to put up another pole system where I can leave the food out and have it available to them at all times.

My jays even share if the company behaves!
