It was on light irrigation between heavy rainfall events, but when the heavy rains stopped was when it went into dormancy. It was growing in a bed of 6 paeoniifolius, 1 bulbifer and 1 symonianus. Just recently the bulbifer is showing signs of winding down, the others are still going strong. This is the prainii when it started making its bid for early retirement. I think that's just a small paeoniifolius under its leaf. |
