Another favorite Begonia of mine is Sinbad, but that one does not overwinter well as a houseplant for me...it lived, but I had lots of mildew on the leaves. I have a hard time finding anything other than the common bedding Begonias here, so I always get excited when I find an interesting one for sale at a nursery. I had a gorgeous one a few years ago that I didn't bring in for the winter, but tried to bring a cutting in instead....well, that didn't work, and I so regret losing that one. I haven't seen it anywhere since then. :( |
