Climbed the tree and started stuffing them into my brown bag from lunch. Ten feet up, looked down just as a police officer walked by. He seemed not interested so I continued. Took me two years to germinate them, most were blind seeds, I learned that the darn things need double stratification , warm then cold, and it was two Springs before I got trees. Then I planted them out back, a new septic system was needed and when they were six or so feet high the plumber dug them out with a back-hoe I sometimes think I have more disasters than successes in my garden.
