For seeds that you really don't want to lose, try brewing concentrated chamomile tea. It's a natural fungicide. Spray the cooled solution on the seedling and the starting media. I tried it on some arborea seeds that had developed that white mold. It worked, although I had to repeat it. I think I used 8 to 10 tea bags to a quart of water and boiled the bags about 15 minutes.

Here's a photo of last January's seedlings in community pots. I bought a seed starting kit that consisted of these square containers and coir disks. Even though I sterilized the coir, I had trouble with mold in all the containers. I managed to get a large number of seedlings to grow despite having to fight the mold by spraying with chamomile tea. The little white flecks on the coir is the mold. Another problem I had with this growing media was chlorosis. This year I went back to using Park's sponges. I also have rockwool.
