I've never seen starlings so I guess they don't come this far south? I will have to google and read about them. The look on that Mockers face is so cute ... that is a great picture!

pelletory: Is that little bird a Dark Eyed Junco? It's so cute but it is lighter in color than photo's I've been seeing.

Methodical: Love those Ducks! Do you live on a lake? The Ruddy Duck is interesting looking but I really think the Ring Necked is pretty. That look on the male ducks face sure is funny ... his lady left him!

Burn: Is the bird in your first picture a Starling? Cute little Black Capped Chickadee. Aaah, the Blue Jay, one of my all time favorites. I could watch their antics all day! The ones here love when I put Peanuts in the feeders! The color on your Blue Jay is so pretty, more white than the ones I see here and it makes that blue head really stand out! Is he a regular at your place? Sorry to hear about the little fella having an eye infection but glad to know it's healing!

I don't know if this is a Common Grackle or a Crow ... I can never tell them apart although I know the crow is larger.
