Not all were painted but a lot were. I asked the owner of the place how many pumpkins would be thrown out and she surprised me with zero.She said they would be shipping pumpkins until mid Dec. It seems she ships them to customers to make pumpkin pie with.What a smart operator to develop such a big market with such an easy thing to grow.But then I guess the people on the crowded East coast do have the dirt to grow them .
