They are about 2-1/2 months old now. We had been bringing them in at night because it has been very cold and they would sleep in the kitty carrier that doubles as a chick home. Last night it wasn't as cold as its been so we left them in their little house (not the carrier) in the pen they are in during the day. Well, this morning my husband found one escapee on the back porch by the back door. Somehow it got out of the house and came to the door. Probably scratching the door all night saying "let me in" (kidding there of course). I think tonight we will put the kitty carrier inside their house, and make sure the door is well shut, maybe that will get them more used to being in their house at night. The picture is of two of them, one is hiding her face. |
