Got most of my Xmas decorations outside this morning - I put all the extension cords and bases out in October and then just have to pop the decorations on their bases and plug them in. Tomorrow will set the outdoor timers. I dont turn my lights on until Dec 1 earliest and they are turned off on 12th night. ( 6 Jan). I indulged in some pot decorations when I went to the greenhouse yesterday to pick up 'greens' and have done a rather nice pot for the front lawn.
Then I started to bring up my angel collection from the basement-I will finish those off tomorrow. I use my angels, lots of candles and greenery for inside decoration plus there are lights hung in all the windows. I have a new way to display some of the angels this year - sitting in the plant hangers in the TV room window!
This afternoon it started snowing lightly and by the time I left the house at 3pm to take Fancy to the vet for her blood work ( tooth cleaning on Thurs) the side streets were a bit slippery. Just now I looked out the window and it is snowing and blowing hard. Supposed to go to class with dogs tonight at 8:30 - suspect I will not be going! I prefer to stay off the roads in this kind of weather if it is not essential or urgent.
