I share your feelings about bird being kept as pets. I NEVER would have gotten Little Man (Yellow Nape Amazon)if I would have known what I do now. Recently I'd been thinking about getting him a companion, but sadly I'm very allergic to him. I couldn't imagine two birds in the house. I just feel so guilty that his needs aren't being met. Last night I had him on my shoulder and had a major allergic reaction. My eyes swelled shut and my asthma kicked into high gear. *sigh*

Here he is stealing the dogs (Molly) toys. He spends more time floor walking then he does on his cage. You don't know he's on the floor until he's right up on you. I'm afraid someone is going to step on him. It's ashame that he doesn't know how to fly.
