I was looking on Ebay at Lycoris and noticed someone was selling Lycoris radiata - Red Surprise Lily. Still not knowing if that is what I already had, I went ahead and ordered some. They came in the mail today, and they have a white stripe down the center of each leaf blade.

My mystery bulbs have the same white stripe down the center of each of their leaf blades. I have also obtained some pink surprise lilies and some lavender ones in the past month and they do not have a white stripe on their foliage.

I'm getting closer to being sure that the mystery bulbs are the Red version of Lycoris. I feel like such a detective now ;^)

Here is a picture of the mystery bulbs leaf blade, showing the white stripe. Anyone out there with multiple colors of Lycoris ever notice this white stripe on yours?
