I lost my dad about 2 1/2 weeks ago, so let me tell you coming here and talking about my favorite subject, second (kitties + partner comes first) gardening. Don't let my news change the direction of the thread because it's just what I need, a change of conversation. My Dad was delighted to hear that after all the years as a teenager griping about spending so much time in the garden has finally paid off. I now get what he loved, but I think he forgot that it is what teenagers do. *g* So while I am sad, I am continuing to love what he did. Glad to see other's around the PNW liking snow, I hear so many complaints about it I thought I was the only one. Yes, I love Tau back legs, it looks like she is wearing leg warmers lol, and she certainly loves walking with me. I don't usually let her walk with me off the leash, as a matter of fact since a couple coyotes moved into the park she is always on the leash and harness. I also carry a big wooden walking stick. I can't wait to see the Radican after a few years growth. I also went to one of our local nurseries to buy this grand fir that was last years live Christmas tree that didn't sell, so I got it at 50% off. |
