My Sister-in-Law visited with someone on her way to our family reunion this weekend and they gave her several kinds of bulbs that were extras from their garden. She shared some of them with me, but by the time she got to me, she had forgotten the names of each bulb. She only remembered one kind was supposed to have red blooms and they called it a Baby Amaryllis. I don't know if this is the one or not, that they were referring to.

The interesting thing about this bulb is that it is growing another bulb on top of the bulb. Giving it a "Double Decker" affect. It's so distinctive that I thought someone may have seen this type of growth before and recognise it? The skins on the bulbs are very dark. Now I'm wondering when I plant these should I plant it clear to the top of the top bulb (where the green sprouts are coming out)? Or would that be too deep?
