Lebug, you got me thinking about the campanulas, and I went into the back to check on my Campanula takesimana or Korean Bellflower. They bloomed this year for the first time. I think they were quite beautiful. I guess some people say they are quite aggressive, but so far mine haven't been, but then I planted them next to the woods ... not in a garden bed, and they are having a hard enough time competing with the weeds and trees and such.
These campanulas like part shade or morning sun and can take some dryer soil, so they are kind of nice.

Any way ... those seeds are finally done, but I'm finding hardly any seeds, they are super tiny. I don't know how many pollinators found them, being in the shade and all.

As I clean up the gardens, I am finding a couple types of seed that I think, hummm, maybe I could save a few of those, even if there are only a couple, it would be enough to offer 1 for the swap. I found a hosta that had gone to seed ... I always cut the blooms off my hosta, must have missed this one. Actually the seeds were inside my Japanese Iris foliage and I was all excited thinking I had seeds from my Japanese Iris ... sigh, only hosta seeds ... I'll save them for the swap. lol

Next year I will try to get seeds from my Japanese Iris 'Crystal Halo' if anyone is interested.

Ok, its getting ready to rain and I haven't finished what I wanted to outside, so back out I go.
