The good news ... I've had 2 days of blooms on a couple of my outdoor vines. When I say 2 days ... I mean the blooms lasted TWO days!!! LOL! No kidding! The colder weather seemed to retard their wilting for two whole days! Isn't that something? I went from having blooms in the very early morning hours until about 10 am when most of them wilt, to having blooms open for 2 days! LOL! Though the color of the blooms did change by the end of the first day. But they stayed open until this afternoon. I can't help but wonder if they would have continued to stay open if the weather hadn't started warming up again! I guess I will never know ...

Here is Sazanami blooms after two days right as they started to wilt late this afternoon after I got home from work. The color went from lavender to pink. You can see the brownish edges from aging and the colder weather. I got such a kick out of seeing those same blooms for a couple of days! :-)
