Mrs.Ed...I have no idea what DH planted. It was an area that was cleared due to the ice storm a few years ago and DH had the seed guy mix up a bunch of stuff for the birds. We were mainly interested in attracting the Bob-whites and that has worked since now they come to the yard. It is about a 2 acre area next to a giant brush pile and a hidden stream that runs year-round. The plant that the Indigos like look very much like fox-tails. I had some come up right outside my window and noticed an Indigo on it the other day. I will check with the seed guy and see if he remembers what we planted. The Yellow Warbler was in the front yard and I would guess they are just after the bugs. I know...too much info!!

Here's an Eastern Kingbird in the treetop from the other day...haven't seen as many as last year.
