The House on the Rock in Spring Green, Wisconsin
If you have never seen the House On The Rock in Spring Green, Wisconsin it would be a good winter get away this winter and if you have seen The House on the Rock in Spring Green, Wisconsin you may want to go again. The House on the rock is always being added to and chances are you have not seen what is new. The House On The Rock in Spring Green, Wisconsin has hundreds of sited to see that are amazing and it leaves you wondering how they do it? The House On The Rock in Spring Green, Wisconsin has the worlds largest carousel and many collections of all different things to see. The House on the Rock offers a view from over 3,200 windows for you to look out of and there is alot to see over the 200 acers the house sits on.

The House On The Rock in Spring Green, Wisconsin was designed and built by Alex Jordan Jr. at the beginning of the early l940's. In the l940's this house was way ahead of it's time in architecture. The original l4 room house in now a complex of interconnecting buildings them a different theme in each one. The exhibits cover a range of themes including an enormous sea monster, antiques guns, jeweled crowns that are replica's, cannons, oriental art and dolls to name just a few on the different exhibits to see. There are streets and gardens all on 200 acres for you to see.

Inside the fabulous house you can find pools of running water with waterfalls to listen to as you roam about the House of the Rock. You can see massive fireplaces and a room with windows jutting out overlooking a spectacular view of a valley. There is an observation deck that scans a 30 mile view for you to see. In a room called the infinity room there is a extension that goes 218 feet out over the Wyoming valley in Wisconsin. There is a overhead walkway that connects the gatehouse to the House on the Rock that is over 300 feet long.
