Hi Delane. Yes that is one that I have not touched since I found it in a barn covered in bird crap five inches thick . They were never imported to the United States. G.I.'s fell in love with them & brought them back from their tour of duty and a few private wealthy individuals paid dearly to get them back on the black market.
There are not too many of these left these days. There wasn't that many made to begain with.

Since they were never imported no parts made it over here. I have been buying any & all I can find (which isn't too many) from Germany & Italy. I thank God this one is original and has all its parts otherwise I don't think it could be done. Not original anyways with the lack of parts.
I will remove the body from the chassis this winter and began a total restoration as I have collected enough parts to put it back together again without major hold ups. A group of us had the interior fabric made from a mill as authentic as the original and also had every electrical wire reproduced to exact standards as the original. This one will be 100% correct.

Here is a pic of what they look like from the factory.

Gotta add you either love it or hate it. A lot of people don't like the lines or styling of this thing.
