Does anyone know if there is a colour code "standard" for descriptions in botany similar to paints. I can get 3 or 4 photos of the same bloom on the net each with a different colour.This is to do with cameras ,lenses,filters and people playing with graphic programs but is there a standard for print I.E
1 Midnight Blue
2 Gentian Blue
3 Bright Yellow
as examples. Looking forward to any response and what colour would you call this iris? John enjoying Spring in Oz.
