For H. neo ebudica, I placed a clear plastic bag around the part of the stem that had the buds and misted it every day. The other one, H. sp 'Palawan', I just misted every day, as I do all of my plants. 'Palawan's buds blasted within a week, and neo ebudica flowered nicely. That doesn't happen very often that one gets a peduncle that will bud up on a cutting, so I don't really know if its an individual hoya trait, or if the high humidity is what made the difference, but it sure couldn't hurt!
