JanetOS wrote: This beautiful bromeliad has been growing wonderfully for the past year. It put out a bloom in the center earlier in the summer, but the pups hadn't sprouted yet. Then, we got a lot of rain, and all of the sudden the center just rotted away. I was sick over it, then, I noticed there was one pup on it, so I removed the rotted foliage and have been babying it ever since. I check it daily to make sure too much water has not collected in the center. It has since sprouted 4, maybe to be 5 pups. None of them have roots yet. Should I just keep waiting it out to remove them?? Mostly curious about leaving the largest one. It's still only about a third of the size of the mother, but I don't wanna lose it all. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks in advance!! Janet |
