I always tell people who I give bulbs to to have patience and not to expect flowers for a few years. sometimes they do bloom the next year, sometimes not for 4 years. I have them in sun, shade, part shade, etc. so that they will be staggered in bloom time. This patch is fairly shaded under a cherry tree, and is the third of my patches to bloom.
